You may choose to winterize your pond or lake aeration system to avoid potentially dangerous openings or thin ice, and to avoid frozen airlines from freezing condensation, by removing the compressor/cabinet and storing it over the winter. If you do, capping your airlines over winter will prevent debris and other contaminants from getting inside the airline.
